Dr.Raman - hardworker as a proof
He was born on November 7 1888 in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. His father Chandrasekar Aiyer taught Physics and Maths in a college and so Raman had some sort of scientific knowledge. His mother parvathi was a cultured lady. Raman was very intelligent since his early childhood.He passed his matriculation when he was 11 yrs. In 1904, At the age of 16, He passed B.A from Madras presidency college.He cleared with first class degree. He did M.A in physics from the same college Raman left govt. Job and he was appointed as principal at calcutta science college. In 1921, He was awarded Doctor of Science by calcutta University.

After his master degree he took the financial civil service and topped the exam.He was appointed as asst. Accountant general in calcutta.In the spare time he did research in the lab of Indian Association for the cultivation of science.In 1917 he became a professor of physics at calcutta university for about 15 yrs he gave his service there. He got noble prize for Raman effect in 1930 and our Indian govt.had given Bharath Rathna in 1954.
